Xeriscape

Green is dedicated to employing xeriscape techniques
throughout our custom designs in order to create landscapes
that are in keeping with Colorado's climate and current water restrictions.

Green analyzes existing conditions, including soil, lay of land, and current landscaping. We meet with you to determine your needs (and desires!). Then we create a design plan based on minimizing turf, selecting plants based on zone, compatability, and visual appeal, improving the soil with aeration and the addition of amendments, applying mulch, setting up an efficient irrigation system, and performing proper maintenance.

While a xeriscape garden is not maintenance free, a well designed xeriscape is much easier to care for (and consumes much less water) than a bluegrass lawn.
